Meet Flo


Florent "Flo" Groberg is a distinguished United States Army Captain (Ret.) and Medal of Honor recipient. On a military deployment to Afghanistan in 2012, he displayed extraordinary bravery, thwarting a suicide bomber attack and saving countless lives. 

Following various leadership positions at Boeing and Microsoft’s Azure Government Mission Engineering, Florent now serves as Vice President in the Portfolio Strategy and Optimization Group at AE Industrial Partners, LP. His insights into aerospace and technology are paving the way for new investments in government defense services. 

Florent is also the author of “8 Seconds of Courage: A Soldier’s Story from Immigrant to the Medal of Honor,” and a graduate of the University of Maryland. Appointed to the American Battle Monuments Commission by the President, his life and career exemplify leadership, courage, and dedication to national security.
